Canadian artist Brian Jungen works with consumer products and re-contextualize them bringing new and interesting meanings. Prototypes for New Understanding (1998-2005) is Jungen’s series of West Coast Aboriginal masks made entirely from re-stitched Nike Air Jordans. Check also his whale skeleton made of plastic chairs.
